Kafka on the Shore
Redesign of a Czech edition of Kafka on the Shore by Haruki Murakami. The novel is a dreamy metaphor of human subconscious, dark things that dwell inside of us, pouring out through our dreams. In the novel many „paranormal“ events happen but mostly are taken as normal. I tried to illustrate the feeling of oddity and absurdity of the dreams. The „reality“ is represented by the book and its classic layout. The oddity and absurdity is represented by errors, glitches, coloured text or the deformation of the layout itself. School project.
